NMPAT Nene Valley Centre

After graduating from Leeds College of Music, specialising in Jazz, Shaun completed his PGCE at Bretton Hall College. He began his professional career playing the trumpet in bands on cruise ships. After teaching for the Hampshire Music Service for 19 years, Shaun relocated, with his wife, Mandy, to Northamptonshire, where he teaches brass and piano in primary and secondary schools. He has been the Centre Head at Nene Valley Centre since 2015.

In his spare time, Shaun enjoys blowing his trumpet, keeping fit by gardening, caring for the local peacock, and he has recently been adopted by Smokey the Cat.
