County Music Ensembles

County Music Ensembles rehearse weekly, during term time, at NMPAT, Kettering Road, Northampton.

Each group will have several performance opportunities throughout the year – details can be found on our online events calendar.  Communication from County Ensemble conductors can be found on the letters page.

Membership of a County Ensemble is subject to annual audition in the summer term.  Auditions for 2023-2024 have already taken place – please go to our auditions page for information on making a mid-term application.  To make a payment for membership of a County Ensemble, please log in to your ParentPay account.  Please note, payments for the 2023-2024 academic year can be made from Monday 14th August.

In addition to County Music Groups, NMPAT also run a Young Actors Company and non-auditioned Youth Theatre for those interested in acting, musical theatre, technical stagecraft and playwriting.
