Congratulations on being awarded a place in one of the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust's award-winning county music and drama groups.
On this page you will find the information you need for the beginning of the year. Some of this needs your attention now and some is for your information.
Information which needs to be completed and returned
Please use the secure web-link provided with your audition results email to check the information we hold about you and your child on our iPresto database and add any important emergency contact and medical information which we may need to know. Please also check the current school recorded. Please see your acceptance email for login details.
As a registered Charity we can access additional funding by claiming Gift Aid on your membership subscriptions. This will help us to raise additional funds at no cost to yourself and minimise subscription fees in the future. If you feel you can support us in this way and have not already done this, please download, sign and return a Gift Aid declaration, or click the confirm button on your iPresto home page. You only need to do this once, however you will need to complete a new form if you change your name or address.
Information regarding fees and subscriptions
To reduce costs, and minimise subscription fees in the future, our preferred payment method is on-line via Parent Pay. New members will receive log-in information by email within a few days of the audition results. N.B Your ParentPay account will not be available until Tuesday 28 August.
ParentPay - pay online now
If your child is also a member of one of our Regional Centres or a Rock School, you can request that the subscriptions be added to your ParentPay account. Please email us at email@example.com with your child's name and the centre or Rock School attended. Please note that if you added these to your account last year you will need to remind us to add them again for this year.
For those with significant bills, you can still pay by standing order. Please request a standing order form from the office.
Information regarding dates and times
Many of our County Groups hold residential courses, which this year will be taking place at the Frontier Centre in Irthlingborough. These courses are a fantastic opportunity to get to know fellow groups' members, build confidence and refine musical skills - they are also great fun. Application forms are emailed to relevant County Group members shortly after the audition results are released. To see which groups are involved, and on which dates, please see Courses for County Group Members.
Open evening for New Members
If you are new to NMPAT, and would like to have a look around the Kettering Road Music and Arts Centre, there will be an opportunity to do that on Friday 31 August from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. NMPAT will be opening its doors to new county group members to come and look around, see where their rehearsal will be, meet some of our staff and existing students and find out what it’s going to be like before you start.
The Friends of the Music and Performing Arts Trust
The Friends of the Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust (FNMPAT) are an invaluable support to the work of the county groups.
NMPAT has a staff/student committee called ‘Student Voice’ which helps steer the organisation in the direction the students want it to go. If you have any ideas or suggestions you would like to put forward to that committee you can do that by emailing
