Autumn Term at NMPAT
Thank you to all of our partner schools who have enabled us to return to teaching this term. It is so good to be working with children and young people again. We are already back in 92% of the schools who have booked teaching for this year and are making plans with the others. We have also begun delivering 70 First Access projects in primary schools this term.
County Groups are meeting for smaller and shorter face to face rehearsals in addition to on-line meetings and Youth Theatre, Young Actors Company & Northampton Contemporary are all meeting at Kettering Road on Saturday afternoons. Our NMPAT Virtual Centre continues to meet on-line and preparations are well underway for the massed centre film performance at the end of term.
Visitors to Kettering Road will notice some changes, including hand sanitisers, a one-way system in the corridors and restricted waiting spaces. Please help us to make the building safe for everyone by adhering to these new procedures. Please see our Policies page for an up to date version of the Coronavirus Risk Register. You can see what we’ve been doing in our COVID secure video. We are extremely sorry, but anyone who has been instructed to isolate by their school cannot attend lessons or rehearsals for the period of their isolation. You are welcome to join us on-line.
Thank you to all the amazing staff, schools, students and parents that are making this possible – we are delighted that we are starting to be able to make Music and Theatre once again!
