Music lessons outside of school

Music lessons outside of school

What is available?

Lessons can be arranged on a one-to-one basis with a specialist teacher, term-time only and outside of school hours, on all instruments. These lessons are normally intended for students approaching higher grades working with a specialist teacher. Applications are welcome from beginners and adults, but are subject to teacher availability and we cannot guarantee to meet demand.

Many lessons take place at the Kettering Road Arts Centre in Northampton, but it may be possible for them to be arranged more locally to you through our Saturday Music and Arts Centres. For students about to join Secondary School, lessons out of school hours may be an alternative to school based lessons.

Students having individual lessons are usually expected to provide their own instrument. Instrument loan is not included.
