Do you like the idea of learning an instrument that’s a little bit different? Maybe you’re keen to play something that’s ‘one-of-a-kind’?
NMPAT need you!
We are keen to hear from children and young people who are interested in learning to play the oboe, bassoon, double bass and orchestral percussion! These instruments are becoming endangered and need special people to play them… that special person could be you!

NMPAT are looking for young people in years four to eight who are interested in having weekly tuition on one of these endangered instruments. We will provide you with an instrument, one reed per term for oboes and bassoons, and specialist staff to help you develop your specialist skills.
For your first year of tuition, the cost is just £30 per term, where there are three terms per academic year. There will be a complimentary consultation session to check suitability and offer advice before you are required to commit to lessons for the term.
