Nene Valley Music and Performing Arts Centre is based at Oundle Primary School. There are lots of different musical and artistic opportunities for the young performers of the Oundle area. Come and see us!
A timetable of face-to-face activities will be made available once we have confirmation around resuming meetings at the Centre.
The Young Performers club runs throughout the morning and is split into three distinct sessions:
We have a thriving musical theatre community with a class for children in Year 6 and above, and this is complemented by separate, age-specific, dance and drama classes.
For our more traditional musicians we have a number of instrumental ensembles catering for a wide range of ability and experience.
For those budding rockers and future pop stars, our rock school runs throughout the morning, and there is also a beginner acoustic guitar class at 9.55am.
There are plenty of performance opportunities during the year including our Christmas concert and fayre, rock school showcase, Thrapston Charter Fair and our summer concert.
If you would just like to come and see what we do, you would be most welcome to come for a free taster session. Just turn up and someone will be able to show you what there is to see. We look forward to welcoming you!
