Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust’s Community Choir is relaunching!

The choir is the first community group run by NMPAT, for people who simply love to sing and want to improve their skills, whilst performing a wide range of styles, from choral classics to songs from the shows.

The choir is non-auditioned and welcomes members who do not read music as well as others who do. Directed by Adam Hollingshurst, he choir welcomes all those beyond school age and a programme of performances will be shared in due course.

There will be a FREE trial / registration evening on Tuesday 28th September, with weekly rehearsals commencing on Tuesday 5th October.

Subscription details

£50 per term for a 10 week term payable in advance.
Termly payment to be made through the ParentPay Shop.

Coronavirus and NMPAT

13th September 2021

It has been great to see all our friends and supporters returning over the past week as we restart teaching, County Groups and Saturday Centres. We are planning for a whole year of music making and we are delighted to have you with us.

We are delighted to be back working in schools and look forward to supporting them as they get their own music programmes running again.

County Groups have all resumed rehearsals. We are using increased ventilation and CO2 monitors to ensure that we are avoiding increased risk of COVID transmission through stale air.

After a very exciting registration morning we are looking forward to our first full Saturday morning at Centres around the county. You can still register with our registration form. This year the membership subscriptions for the first term are fully funded, so there is no charge, subject to maximum numbers in some settings. We are delighted to see you all back. Please do everything you can to help us keep everyone safe.
