 About the County Junior Choir

The County Junior Choir is one of the five choirs of the Music and Performing Arts Trust Conductor: MaryJane Dixonand rehearses on Wednesday evenings in the Richard Coles Hall at the Kettering Road Music and Arts Centre from 5:45pm - 7pm. The conductor for the 2016 – 2017 season is Alison Macfarlane (pictured).

The junior choir exists to give young singers their first experience of choral singing in preparation for possible future involvement in the senior choirs.

Their annual programme includes a series of concerts around the county including the New Generation Concert in the Derngate and regular appearances at the regional round of the National Festival of Music for Youth.
