Broadway Belles (BBCh)

The Broadway Belles in rehearsal for The Festival, Derngate, June 2015

Broadway Belles was formed in 2011 as the NMPAT upper voices show choir performing both musical theatre and modern close harmony repertoire. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 7pm in the Edmund Rubbra Hall. The conductor for the 2016 to 2017 season is Danielle Barnes.

The choir gives the opportunity for budding vocal composers to explore their talent and also gives young singers vocal health techniques to deal with different styles from the traditional choral strain.

The Broadway Belles regularly perform for the NMPAT Big Sing and the National Festival of Music for Youth.
