What happens at a 'Music Play Day'?

Each play day will be based around a theme.

Children who play a musical instrument can take part in our play band who will be providing music for our performance. The children will have the opportunity to rehearse with a professional musician who will lead rehearsals and conduct the final performance. If singing is more your thing you can take part in singing workshops. These workshops will focus on healthy vocal technique and children will have the opportunity to learn new music to take part in our final performance.

Who can take part?

The day is open to children aged 7-13. Children wishing to take part in the play band will need to bring their instrument with them. All abilities are welcome, music reading skills are an advantage but not essential!
